Eddie will wear a long trench coat, which will stand out compared to the public, which reflects his personality being different and unique. He will always look smart - with a shirt, tie and trousers. He will also wear smart shoes, to go with his outfit. His top button will be undone, and his tie will be slacked, to give a more casual look. His hair will be messy to show the slight crazy side to him.

Emma Stone (Lauren)



Ansel Elgort (Jack)

Jack will wear a leather brown jacket, and his style is quite casual.


Cate Blanchett (Lucy)

Lucy will wear a suit, and wear dark clothing, to come across as the main villain.

Location Recce

Lights and Camera Movement techniques

Natural lighting will be used in all the scenes filmed outside. There will be quite a lot of night scenes, so lighting will be needed. I want to make the film quite colourful, to reflect Max's creative mind, and to do that I will make the happy scenes dark but with vivid colours, especially in Time Square. The camera will be mainly showing establishing shots, to show the futuristic world that Max lives in. In sad scenes, the colours will be very bland and blue, to represent the characters feelings. In intense scenes, the camera will be fast-panning and dynamic to make the scene more suspenseful.
